First, he puts out an ad. Second, someone drops oppo on him in South Carolina. Basically, he used to be sensible before he started pandering. Does anyone think he is running? Why is this happening?

This is a citizens united ad, so maybe Newt is just doing them a favor or he was paid to do it. The same group had Fred Thompson appear in an ad during the 04 General against Kerry.

What is even more bizzare to me is the choice of music in the background, it’s like elevator light jazz, not exactly what I would have chosen for an ominous fear inducing ad.
