Chris Wallace of Fox News Sunday called one of Mitt Romney’s mailers in New Hampshire "not true." Watch the video.
What is Romney’s strategy? Lie about everything through the primary? CNN caught him being dodgy yesterday. But the guy has the money to do it.
I don’t think that the Republican Party wants a guy who spends millions of his own money to spread lies about other Republicans. I just think that the party is more decent than that.
UPDATE: Quote of the day from Rudy Giuliani’s campaign:
"Mitt Romney’s already changed his own position on illegal immigration, so it should come as no surprise that he’s trying to change everybody else’s position as well."

Another illogical, self-referential post. Talk about not being true, you lied about the Western Wats story and still haven’t come clean. Maybe McCain will come clean about how close he was to joining Kerry in 2004…

Hi Soren. I see you are just as much of a tool as I remember you being. Wallace is wrong, McCain did vote to give illegal immigrants Social Security as part of his comprehensive reform package. When Senator Ensign offered an amendment to strip this from the bill, Senator McCain voted to table it. Do your home work and act like you have a brain. For once.

Haven’t you ever heard of the Ensign amendment?
McCain voted to table the amendment (effectively killing it). The amendment would have prohibited the payment of Social Security benefits based on quarters of coverage earned by an individual who has not at some point had a valid Social Security number. and addressed part of the problem of aliens getting Social Security credit for work performed while they were illegally present in the United States

Don’t worry, Chris Wallace will hear about this as well.

Well, I was just quoting Wallace on this one. Of course, Romney has lied about other candidates and himself, as the Giuliani campaign quote points out.

And I am withholding an opinion on Western Wats until the NH AG reports. The Union Leader says this week.

Romney’s mailer is dishonest; Wallace’s comment simply highlights that.
One of the best lines of an earlier debate from McCain: You might be able to hoodwink people about your record, but I’m not going to let you do that with mine.
Romney can’t even manage his own backyard. Frankly, I’m surprised to see these dirty tricks coming from his campaign. But I guess money talks.
