[...] I don’t know what the answers are. John McCain has proposed a League of Democracies, that is part of an answer. I still have trouble seeing a clear foreign policy from the other GOP candidates. And the Democrats are struggling to be honest about living up to our obligations in Iraq, and showing no courage on the international trade agenda, and a very reactionary policy towards the rest of the institutions. (with, again, Clinton being marginally more responsible than the others) [...]

[...] I was a participant on the blogger call that Dinan references, and I’m quoted in his story because I asked McCain the question about the Law of the Sea Treaty. McCain’s answer — that he would oppose LOST in its current form — apparently contrasts with his previous statements on the treaty. [...]

LOL...A furthr testament to my relative obscurity...It's Marston. I had a chuckle earlier when I checked my blog after the call and three of the hits were from Google searches "Brad+Marston+Blog". Thanks for the mention. My recap is over at www.Blogs4McCain.com

[...] Soren Dayton: “John McCain has made clear repeatedly that he would do more than the Bush administration to communicate. He would talk more about Iraq. About the deficit. About immigration. About global warming. About judges. He believes that he would be able to get through to people if he just explained. In that sense, he seems much more like Reagan or (Bill, but not Hillary) Clinton. (Hillary seems to prefer the Bush model)” [...]
