I really don’t think it’s the ag bill. First, it is on a 6 year cycle. The renewal will be in 2013.

how does an east coast rino connect not only with with Iowans, but the the IA GOP also? has he promised billions and billions in farm subsidies?

I remember one of the first things W. Bush did when he took office was to appropriate an astronomically high amount in farm subsidies to farmers. Upset, I promised myself i’d never forget the hundred(?) billion dollar figure –then I promptly forgot it.

Is it possible Romney promised the moon to the IA GOP in some closed door meeting?
