1994: Mitt Romney was pro-choice
- Accept as is
2001: Mitt Romney was not pro-choice
- Aligns with is always personal belief that abortion is wrong
2002: Mitt Romney was again pro-choice
- Reiterating that he would not change the current laws of MA
November 2004: Mitt Romney said he converted to the pro-life position
- Process began of feeling that government should take a stronger role in the abortion issue
May 2005: Mitt Romney reaffirmed that he was "absolutely committed" to support the pro-choice position
- You're just as bad as McCain for distorting this quote. Why don't you quote the whole argument that Romney made? We all know why!
January 2007: Mitt Romney acknowledged he was "effectively pro-choice."
- "effectively" was right because he made a promise in the most liberal state in the union that he would not change the abortion laws. And he kept that campaign promise!
February 2007: Mitt Romney stated that he "was always for life."
- Stating is personal view has never changed
