I am a Republican activist. I just find Romney very alarming and dangerous for our party.

We cannot afford to nominate someone with the character of Bill Clinton.

I’m absolutely ecstatic that Romney is out polling Rudy & McCain with or without FDT & Newt in the early primary states. I very pleased that many are now seeing in Mitt what I’ve already seen. The man is smart, competent, articulate, a serious problem solver, and very presidential.
I am amazed by the vitriol spewed at Romney. Not just from Democrats, but by fellow Republicans. I may not agree with Rudy’s social liberalism or with McCain’s immigration policy, but I’d vote for both of them should they be our nominee. I can’t help but think that many here would never vote for Romney under any circumstances. This site in particular has been overly heavy-handed and critical of most things Romney. I’ve assume this is a site run by liberals.
I’m very excited that the media and others are paying more attention to Romney as they ought to. Romney will out fund raise for Q2. His organization will continue to grow and reap more dividends. You are only seeing the beginning here.

His foot is permanently in his mouth. He has no character and no values.

Eventually truth wins in politics. And when it does, Romney will lose.

I suspect Romney's Iowa numbers will only go up. He's a brilliant campaigner, the kind of guy who can change minds through good ideas and clarity of thought. I have to wonder though why Romney is the first to campaign so effectively. It begs the question, what is wrong with our lifetime politicians. I think it shows that they aren’t as effective at organizing people and solving real world problems. Thank goodness, they will lose.
